Casa del Herrero, “House of the Blacksmith,” was designed and completed in 1925 by famed architect George Washington Smith. Standing as one of the finest examples of original Spanish Colonial Revival architecture in the country, the historic house museum is quintessential Santa Barbara: lush gardens and horticulture, stucco exteriors, barrel-rolled terracotta roofing.
