The Santa Barbara Woman’s Club is a favorite venue among our soon-to-be-wedded due to its classic and timeless Spanish colonial architecture, rich history, and unforgettable gardens and property that is as versatile as the couple’s vision of their special day.

Lauren and Michael were married with a vibrant citrus-inspired theme that added the right amount of “Zest” to their day; a detail they carried throughout their celebration. A family friend of the couple did the stunning florals, we are in awe of such arrangements that tied everything together. WOW!

No citrus-themed wedding would be complete without a menu that celebrated the flavors of the season. Guests were welcomed with a Bountiful Cheese Table, heaping with international cheeses, goat cheese torte, bouquets of handmade bread sticks, baguettes & ciabatta, crackers, quince paste, local dried fruit, toasted pecans, citrus & fennel marinated olives, and completed with estate urns of fragrant pears, grapes, apples, and berries.

Friends and family then enjoyed a Farm to Table Buffet of farmer’s market Buttermilk Salad with butter lettuce, local oranges, avocado, red onion, and fresh buttermilk dressing.

Entrees included Pecan Whiskey Chicken with bourbon onion marmalade and grilled fresh on location Mesquite Flank Steak with chimichurri. The meal was complimented with Crispy Brussels Sprouts with dried apricots & pistachio on yogurt sauce and Garlic Mashed Potatoes with olive oil and roasted garlic.
