Carr is an industrial chic winery located in a 1940’s Quonset hut in downtown Santa Barbara. Enjoy the ambiance of a working winery with lofty ceilings, aromas of wine barrels and rich, subtle lighting. The winery is an elegant setting for private wine tastings, corporate events, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries or birthday celebrations. Carr Winery is a truly unique venue your guests will remember.
Sip wines under the stars on the beautiful outdoor patio. Whether you’re planning a 40 person seated dinner or a standing wine reception, the patio is the spot to be. Guests will enjoy a private wine bar, and a fire pit to keep them cozy after the sunsets. The Carr Patio is adjacent to the winery and is available to rent separately or together with the barrel room.
All of the wines made by Carr are sourced from Santa Barbara County vineyards and are made in a traditional wine making style to capture the essence of the grape varietal and region. We believe the best wines start in the vineyard and pride ourselves on precision farming. Each vineyard is meticulously farmed to produce low yields, hand harvested and farmed using only organic practices.
Pricing Details:
(Mon – Wed) events for the Barrel Room & Patio is $400 per hour with a $950 wine minimum.
(Thurs – Sunday) events for Barrel Room & Patio is $600 per hour with a $1,250 wine minimum
Capacity Details:
Barrel Room Capacity: 100 people for standing reception; 50 people for a seated dinner
Patio Capacity: 100 people for a standing reception; 40 people for a seated dinner
Entire Venue Capacity: 200 people for standing reception
