My husband and I got married at Twin Peaks over Memorial Day weekend, 2009. It was my lifelong dream to get married at Twin Peaks (full disclosure, it's my family home) and everyone raved about how perfect our wedding was. Several people said they felt like they were back in old Hollywood in another era. We hired the Ojai Big Band and they came decked out in tuxedos and played big band music. The food from Pure Joy was fantastic--not your typical boring wedding food, it was food we were proud to serve to our friends (and we are big foodies entertain a lot at home). We had a Tuscan style dinner with roast pork loin, glazed cornish hens, polenta and gorgeous vegetables. Pure Joy took care of all the rentals so we only had to deal with one company for food and rentals--totally hassle free. We set up feasting style tables and a family style service where dinner was served on big platters and everyone could help themselves. It was the best of all possible worlds--I could have my formal seated dinner with a more family feel. There were so many flowers in bloom that the only flowers we purchased for the wedding were our bouquets and a few dozen rose for the tables at cocktail hour--our flower budget was basically nothing because the natural beauty was our decoration. Our first dance was at sunset and the mountains were glowing in the background. It was like a dream getting married here. We used three different locations on the ranch: one of the ceremony, cocktails in the rose garden and then dinner and dancing down on the patio overlooking the mountains. Plus since the caterers and vendors are so familiar with Twin Peaks they just arrived and did their thing. We also used Jessica Kuipers as our wedding coordinator and she made everything run like clockwork. Bella Vista did our lighting and made the place look magical at night and our cake was from Sweet Lady Jane in West Hollywood.

The wedding venue couldn't have been more rustic and beautiful providing us an experience that far exceeded our wildest dreams. Every guest raved about the breathtaking location and said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. Mike is a pleasure and so easy to work with. A wonderful experience from beginning to end!

My fiance and I were brought to Twin Peaks after we had already decided on a location. But, from the moment we drove under the driveway of gorgeous trees and turned the corner to see the stunning view of the mountains and Ojai valley - we were hooked. And we hadn't even seen the property yet! No pictures can do this place justice. You must, MUST go and see it for yourself. Go not just so you can see the charming three bedroom guest house where the bride gets married or the original oak and tile bar your guests will be sipping drinks from, or the family of pet doves - but go so you can meet Mike Miller, the caretaker, and get a sense of what wonderful customer service you will recieve when you get married there. My fiance and I were married at Twin Peaks on July 10, 2010 with 172 guests. Our guests are still commenting on what an incredible venue we chose - like no other weddng they had ever been to. This place is a wonderful hidden gem and if you are lucky enough to have your most special day here - you will not be dissapointed.

My wife and I were married at Twin Peaks May 15, 2010. It was the greatest and most beautiful days of my life. I think it's safe to say the same for my wife. The location is magical. It's California at it's best. Our guests are still raving about the location. Some/most have said that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. We take great joy in that, but know that the location was the main reason for it. Of course none of this would be possible without the help of Mike Miller the caretaker of the property. He is so full of information on how best to do things. He listens and advises as he wants your special day to go off without a hitch. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end and Kimi and I feel lucky that we were able to have our special day at Twin Peaks.

As a bride and groom there is no doubt that one of the most important things is that your wedding day is unique. Twin Peaks is the place that makes that happen. Everything from the gorgeous greenery and private setting to Mike and Helene who help ensure every detail is addressed, this place is sure to wow you and your guests. We couldn't have had a more perfect wedding day and so much of it is owed to this gorgeous setting. This site does require you bring in all the decorations, table, chairs, lighting, catering, etc but they are so helpful in helping you find the right vendors, manage the set-up/take-down, and have such great advice on how to structure your day and lay out your event. Our guests are still talking about our wedding and their amazing weekend in Ojai and Twin Peaks has left an imprint on them of a truly California experience. Go check it out - you will be amazed!
